“Life, is not a having and a getting, but a being and a becoming.”

When I was a kid my grandmother used to lock all her secrets in a drawer on a large piece of furniture at home. After she died my mother began doing the same, up to this day. This is the key to the drawer, which my mom gave to me just a couple of weeks ago. I cannot open the drawer until she is dead. Then I will know all another part of my family’s story. Or perhaps I already know everything. Who knows.
